Front Office Support

Locations: Little Rock and Hot Springs, AR

Experience in a busy front office setting and must be proficient in multiple phone lines, appointment scheduling, co-pay collections and insurance verification. Candidate should be dependable, reliable, punctual, and highly efficient.

Job Summary: Receives calls and determines the nature of business, directs callers to the appropriate destination. Updates client’s records and insurance information. Greets clients, schedules appointments, and calls clients to verify appointment times. Perform a variety of routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties. This position creates a positive first and last impression for the clinic and is pivotal to the clinic running smoothly and as efficiently as possible.

Essential Functions:

  1. Coordinating customer service activities for the clinic – assist in resolving complaints.
  2. Provides insurance verification and authorization.
  3. Calculates and collects client deposits and finalizes payment arrangements.
  4. Provides insurance follow-up and collection of outstanding balances.

Secondary Functions: Other duties as may be assigned by Clinic Manager or Clinical Coordinator.

Educational/Skills: High School Graduate, prefer some experience in aspects of business office functions and/or efficient in provider insurance activities, payment arrangements, and electronic records; ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.

Licensure: Not required.

Experience: Basic computer activities.
