Essential Functions:

To successfully complete initial Qualified Behavioral Professional training and refresher yearly thereafter.

To provide crisis stabilization intervention, supportive interventions, life skills development, community support services, rehabilitative day service, therapeutic day/acute day treatment and home visits for persons with mental illness under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional.

To perform as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

To demonstrate an understanding of cultural competence and culture sensitivity.

To demonstrate the ability to comply with performance standards as noted by the Joint Commission, OBHS standards, Safety Standards, LHSE Policies and Procedures, and HIPAA Compliance.

To assists in admissions, discharges, and support services, such as data collection and electronic input as assigned.

 

Other duties as assigned by Mental Health Professional, Clinical Coordinator and/or Administration.Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field. NOTE: Non-degreed candidates may be considered based on work experience in a mental health setting. Successful completion of 40 hrs in a Qualified Behavioral Professional course.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Skills:

Licensure: None Required but preferredf.

Expierence: Preferred - Minimum of one year of experiecne working in mental health setting.
