Job Description:

Provides quality individual, family, and group therapies, as well as oversees paraprofessional services to clients of Living Hope Outpatient services. Provides comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning and collateral intervention. All services will meet professional standards and be rendered according to their licensure or certification. Assists in receiving clients and placement of clients at discharge, as well as coordinating immediate aftercare services.

Secondary Functions:  Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Education/Skills:  Graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a master’s degree in a behavioral science discipline (prefer psychology, counseling, or social work background).

·         Licensure:  Licensed in Arkansas as a Mental Health Professional.

·         Experience: Prefer one (1) year post-master’s experience in psychiatric or mental health setting.  Must have completed orientation period in order to act as a team leader.

Mental Health Paraprofessional (Hot Springs, AR)

Essential Functions:

1.            Provides certain rehabilitative services for persons with mental illness under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional.

2.            Paraprofessionals may provide: crisis stabilization intervention, on-site intervention, off-site intervention, rehabilitative day service, therapeutic day/acute day treatment and collateral service.

Secondary Functions:  Assists in admissions, discharges, and support services, such as data collection and electronic input as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Skills:       Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.  NOTE:  Experience may be substituted for education, provided that the experience is matched year-for-year and is direct experience working with seriously emotionally disturbed children.  Successful completion of 40-hour Paraprofessional course.

Licensure:                  None required.                       

Experience:               Minimum of one year of experience working with emotionally disturbed children.

Clinic Manager

Job Summary:  The Clinic Manager is directly responsible for the efficiency, quality, and compliance of services of the Little Rock Office Support Staff. This includes supervising and monitoring office support functions, direct supervision of staff, communicating with clients, staff and administration as needed.                            

Essential Functions: 

1.            Manage Front Desk Operations (Scheduling, Check-In, Check-Out, and Phone Reception).

2.            Manage with Medical Record Operations (Document Filing/Pulling/Tracking).

3.            Manage Insurance Verifications and Prior Authorizations.

4.            Manage duties related to Provider Insurance Paneling and Maintenance.

5.            Manage Billing and Payment Postings.

6.            Manage Collections (making payment arrangements, write-offs and uncollectible balances).

7.            Manage Human Resource functions (i.e., payroll processing, time-off requests, etc.).

8.            Manage basic needs of clinic area (i.e., complaints, supplies, area cleanliness, communications, etc.).

9.            Meets Organizational Core Competencies.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Skills:   Bachelor’s degree preferred (High School Diploma with significant experience is required)
  • Licensure:       None required.
  • Experience:     Significant experience with computers and software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (Client Accounting Software preferred as well)

Billing /Collection Associate

Job Description:

Responsible for coordinating and participating in customer service activities for the Clinic.This includes verification and authorization of insurance, resolution of client complaints, calculating and collecting client deposits and finalizing payment arrangements with client/guarantor. Answers client payment questions. Responsible for insurance follow-up and collection of outstanding client balances. Performs minor secretarial duties. Participates in the Business Office performance improvement activities.

Essential Functions:
